Hi Jen, I don’t have tested instructions outlined for using a crock pot. ❤️ I’ve only tested it as-written.

It was awesome. I added some mushrooms and omitted the nutmeg (because my family doesn’t like it) but the rest of the recipe was exactly as written.  We served it over egg noodles.  The hardest part for me was browning the meatballs without them falling apart. Several stuck pretty badly to the sauté pan. We will make this again, but not on a work night. It’s a bit ambitious for the end of a busy day on your feet.

You can’t really taste it but you can skip it!
